Met die wete dat my biopsie uitslag met ‘n 7 (3+4) gleason gradering ‘n radikale prostatektomie genoodsaak het, het ek verskeie bronne soos persone wat reeds die pad van radikale prostatektomiëe geloop het, internet; You Tube en ander mediese artikels, geraadpleeg om te probeer vasstel watter van die verskeie metodes vir my die aanvaarbaarste is.
“This was the first time I had an operation and it was a very positive experience. I was operated on 25 November 2013. I think the operation took around 6 hours, I was in ICU for 1 day (other operations require a 3-day ICU stay) and I was discharged from hospital on the 3rd day!
