This position reports to the Marketing and Stakeholder Relations Manager and will be responsible for the following performance areas:
1.Patient Centricity:
• Welcome and greet patients visiting the facility.
• Assist with answering all patient questions/ queries.
• Assist patient with completing any relevant forms required by the Doctor or the facility.
2.Office/ Session Room Administration:
• Answering and screening phone calls and taking comprehensive messages for the Doctors.
• Booking appointments for both patients and Doctors and ensuring that they are aware of the booking prior.
• Follow up and confirm bookings two days before the appointment date.
• Answering emails and other electronic messages as and when required.
• Maintain an accurate referrals database.
3. Filing:
• Create and maintaining a filing system for all patient documents and reports received.
4. Cost Management:
• Inform patients of all financial obligations.
• Issue invoices and receipts to patients.
• Placing orders of all required suppliers as and when required.
• Manage and maintain stock use of all suppliers utilised in the sessions room.
REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma (NQF 5) in Secretarial and/ or Office Management.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Private practice experience will be added advantage.
• Vericlaim/ GoodEx experience essential.
• Strong telephone etiquette.
