KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Financial Control and management of the full financial function.
- Responsible for the Financial Analysis, Reporting, and Audits.
- Asset Management and Cost Control.
- Project feasibility and management.
- Contracts Management and Negotiation.
- Opportunity Assessment and Analysis / Feasibility.
- Resource Optimisation.
- Shareholder value management.
- Ensure the implementation and adherence to the financial and accounting policies, as well as following Procedures / IFRS.
- Manage the administration department including the patient administration management and related general auxiliary support functions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualification in Financial Management and Auditing- BCom Accounting, with articles.
- 5 years and more experience in a similar position- Solid Financial Management experience.
- Hospital Business Knowledge would be an advantage.
- Board-level interaction and reporting.
- Sound judgement and understanding of business processes, pro-active approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel).
- Knowledge of business information management systems eg. PASTEL, SAGE Evolution / ERP systems.
- An ability to work under high pressure, and willingness to work overtime from time to time.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Able to effectively work in an existing team.
