I am writing this email as a humble note of appreciation for the outstanding customer service provided by Susan de Beer (Patient administration), I asked her for assistance as my grandfather was admitted yesterday afternoon but was then told late afternoon that the authorisation was reversed and that the hospital can no longer keep him there if he would like to stay a 30% co-payment will be applicable this was not indicated on the authorisation received. Susan went out of her way this morning to clarify the co-payment and billing issues with the medical aid and letting us know that all is ok and no co-payment will be applicable. I would like to thank Susan for her exceptional service standards, going beyond what is required of her role, and being a true reflection of what excellent service and compassion should be about.
